Uhhh, Yea that’s where I get food to feed my family… and where my coworkers spouses work… so yea its kinda important.
Worst comic to date. I’ve been to many different bases and always see the commissary packed. Having a commissary in Japan was the only tenable way to afford groceries. $300 worth of groceries at the commissary often came out to $400-500 if purchased at the cheapest of the cheap in Japan. Diapers for example were easily twice the cost off base.
I do all my shopping at the commissary! It is one of the few benefits I still use. Leaders need to take a hard look at the sharp decline on how military families are taken care of.
