I hate to like something I detest, but only to acknowledge that I’ve read this story.
I will share this with my communities and ask for prayers for these fallen soldiers and those who mourn their loss.
They weren’t killed in the line of duty,
They were ignored in the line of life.
They fought, bravely, to protect
the very freedoms we should enjoy today,
but not for the freedom to neglect the same men and women who are part of a new wartime casualty. God save us!
Families live in fear of that knock on their door when loved ones are over seas,
NOT after they return home.
My life is assisting and ministering to families who have lost a loved one.
They each need to know how that person died. Everyone always asks the grieving family “How did he/she die?”
The reality is, in this case, that no one really knows.
The fact is that their physical and/or emotional pain, their anguish, their nightmares were beyond their own capacities to even bare.
In 3 short months we’ve lost as many men and women to suicide as we lost in the towers. I don’t know how, but this nation needs to honor these losses in a way that brings National attention to this
“Grave-Cause” with a sense of urgency.
I pray for all men and women who have fought or fought and died to protect our freedom. I now pray that we, with that freedom, stand up and fight for the rights of our own military!
