Military Muscle sneak peek: In the studio with runners Mark and Pamela Unger

Marine Maj. Pamela Unger and her husband, former Marine Maj. Mark Unger, stopped by the studio today to shoot Bob Thomas’ strength training for runners workout.

Mark is a former MV-22 pilot and current stay-at-home dad. He was the 2007 Body-for-Life champion and is training for his first 100-miler. Pamela is a comptroller attending Command & Staff College. She’s a marathoner, cyclist and active weight lifter. She can also do eight pullups, enough to earn her a perfect score if and when pullups hit the PT test for Marine women.

Get this workout in the Feb. 17 issue of OFFduty (on newsstands Feb. 10).
