Fitness apps: Get a half-marathon training plan with 13.1 — $1 for a limited time

Active Network — the folks who brought you the popular Couch-to-5K program — have rolled out a new app with a customizable and flexible 12-week half-marathon training plan. 

Pick one of 13.1’s three plans based on your fitness level, then customize it with your race date and long run day. The app will track and log your outdoor workouts using the GPS on your phone; treadmill workouts can be logged manually.

13.1 will give you in-ear feedback and play music from your library.

Available on iTunes; $1 for a limited time, then $10
