Saturday is your last chance to enter the Marine Corps Marathon lottery

Marine Corps Marathon hopefuls have until noon Eastern Standard time Saturday to put in for the marathon’s general registration lottery.

Lottery winners will be notified March 19 and charged the $110 registration fee; those not selected won’t pay anything.

Even if you’re a lottery loser or just late to the party, there are still ways to snag bibs to the Oct. 26 event in Washington, D.C.

“Runners not selected through the Lottery will be able to register with any one of 86 MCM Charity Partners, which will begin registering participants on April 2,” race officials wrote in a news release. “In addition, the MCM will conduct a Transfer Program in June for registered MCM runners no longer able to participate in this year’s event.”

Register or get more information on the race website.
